Who May Join

All those of Nordic descent plus others wishing to explore Norwegian culture
Men and women over 16 may join as a regular member
Youths 16-23 may join at a reduced family rate if a parent is already a member
Youths 15 and under may join as a Heritage member for free if a parent or grandparent is already a SoN member

As a member of the Sons of Norway International, you also gain the following heritage and financial benefits:

Pick up a Sons Of Norway membership application at the lodge, or print out application from Sons of Norway International website
Complete the application and submit it (by mail or in person) to the Poulsbo lodge office manager
- A husband and wife may both join using a single application
- Please fill in an additional application for a child/grandchild memberships
- Prospective members need to be sponsored by a current member; visit the lodge if you don't know any current members and we'll try to tie you in with someone having similar interests
- Include the membership fee with the application. Contact the lodge for the specific amount.
The admission of new members is voted on at lodge meetings
- Adults applying for membership need to attend the meeting at which their application is discussed. You will be notified before the meeting
- Youths applying for free Heritage membership need not be present
